The goal of this blog is to share my own thoughts and matters that I find edifying or intriguing as I am venturing through my faith and academic journeys. For words and works that aren’t mine, I will be sure to include references and links to the original content. Featured within the blog are some of my art and photography pieces as well as those of my dear friends. I do not claim to be an expert of anything; I am simply a wanderer and seeker of Truth who possesses many weaknesses.
My name is M.G. I am a Coptic Orthodox Christian who has wandered off from the Orthodox Church at various points in my life and kept returning back. Recently, I made my last return to the Mother Church. This is the best decision I have ever made! I am also now preparing for my doctoral defense in virology and cell biology.
I love reading and writing about religion and science. I believe that God gave us each a unique way to look at the world because we each have experienced life in a different way from our neighbor. Yet, within the immense diversity that exists among humans, we all share one thing that is very important – we are made by God and our life is only through Him and without Him we are dead. We all seek meaning and purpose and that’s where each of our stories begins…
